It's a gorgeous day in Whistler! There are lots of people strolling and watching events on the big screens around the Village.  There is definitely getting to be an "Olympic" feel to town with lots of fans from around the world.

Pin collecting is big and there are a few spots to hit- Lift Coffee Co is Lake Placid NY House, Pan Pacific Village has Pride House, the Olympic store has new release Coca Cola pins every day at 9:30 am. If you say hi to the RCMP many of them are from out of town and have pins with them.

As we count down to the Games parking is becoming increasingly sparse. Keep in mind after the Games we move to pay parking in the day skier parking lots. Convenience parking in the Village at the conference center and other municipal spots raised their rate this winter.

Parking will not get easier or less expensive. Own a residence in Whistler? Parking stalls are availabe at $15,000. These are a 99 year lease and in the center of the Village. No need to scrape your car after a nice evening in the Village.

Open on site at the Celebration Plaza you can pick up your tickets and medals ceremony tickets if you have a voucher. For many of us purchasing the tickets started the excitement.
